At the top of our list of “Delectable Meltable Cheeses” would be Alpine Cheese (examples: Raclette, fondue, etc).
We’re hosting an Alpine cheese and wine tasting event on Thursday, February 23rd (from 4:30 – 6:30 pm) to celebrate the depths of winter – when these cheeses are at their gooey, warm, melty best.
We won’t be melting them for the tasting, but they are just as delicious sampled fresh, and you can bring them home to melt your own.
Join us to try three Swiss cheeses made from raw cow’s milk: Le Gruyère, Alp Käse Suld Letreyen, and Raclette du Bruscon.
In addition to the cheeses, we will be sampling Joseph Cattin Pinot Blanc (100% Pinot Blanc) from Alsace and Domaine Labbé “Abymes” (100% Jacquere) from Savoie. Must be 21+ to try the wines.
